Had a lovely stay at Brook cottage this week, arriving to a charming basket of local goodies. The cottage is wonderfully cosy whilst also generously spacious, with a luxurious master bedroom. We spent many evenings in front of the fire and our days exploring the beauty of the Dales - despite the weather! Had a great afternoon tea from The Bakewell in town and a brilliant meal at The Kings Arms. Perfectly positioned and great to be off the main road away from traffic but still so close to the village centre. Can't fault it - will definitely be returning!

We spent a week at Askrigg in Sarah's beautiful cottage. The cottage has been recently renovated to a high standard. All amenities the village has to offer are a very short walk from the cottage. Sarah is a wonderful host and quick to respond. Lots of fantastic walks from the doorstep. Personal favourite: Askrigg to Hawes.

Have had a lovely few days relaxing with Brook Cottage as a fantastic cosy base! Explored Hawes and the Wensleydale Creamery, as well as the beautiful Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond. The weather has not been too kind, but Yorkshire is still gorgeous regardless. We have loved it and will hopefully be back! Thank you for making the cottage so lovely and for the delicious cake!

Authentic, warm and comfortable Dales cottage in great area for exploring Wensleydale and further afield. More spacious than outside appearance indicates. Spotlessly clean and equipped to very high standard. Plenty of storage. Some low ceilings in shower room and second bedroom. Narrow lane so parking could be a little tight. Good responsive communication with hosts. We loved it. Thank you!

A great place to stay, in a wonderful location. Very well set out and equipped, and nice and warm in the cold weather! Brilliant location for walking out for day walks, and for getting out further afield. A perfect location for rest and relaxation!

I have really enjoyed my visit! The house is a well equipped and a real home-from-home! Fab shower! I've enjoyed using the smart TV and speaker - great additions! The cottage has been the perfect retreat to get away from work for a week. Wonderful walks from the house too, what's not to love. Thanks!

Beautifully renovated to a high standard house. Quality linens, towels & facilities. Nicely curated extensive library that came in useful when the weather turned ugly and we had to spend a day mostly inside. Nice walks nearby. Responsive and friendly hosts who provided great recommendations. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend.
